Custom Kitchen Remodel

When the stocked sets do not fit your layout or your finish. Cabinets ordered to your spec, counters, new flooring, recessed lighting, tile backsplash and appliance install. Add 6–10 weeks for cabinet lead time, then 3–5 weeks on site.

Gut & Layout Change

Walls come down, an LVL header goes in, plumbing and gas move, and the kitchen opens to the dining or living room. Structural work, permits and inspections. Six to nine weeks — and the change that adds the most resale value.

Cabinets are 35–45% of any kitchen budget. Stock ships in days; semi-custom takes 4–6 weeks; full custom takes 8–12 weeks and costs the most per linear foot. Countertops are the next big swing — laminate, butcher block, quartz and natural stone sit at very different price points per square foot. Our stocked sets were bought for jobs that got cancelled or changed, so the cabinet line is already paid for. That single line is most of the difference.

If you are only replacing cabinets, counters and appliances in the same layout, usually no. The moment you move plumbing, add circuits, or take down a wall, you need a permit — the fee depends on the township and the scope. We pull the permit and schedule the inspections as part of the job.

Stock cabinets come in fixed sizes and ship in days. Semi-custom allows size and finish changes and takes 4–6 weeks. If you would rather buy the boxes and hang them yourself, we sell the sets on their own for pickup at our East Patchogue yard. We also install cabinets a homeowner bought somewhere else.

Backsplash tile, appliances and flooring are quoted separately, and most of the stocked sets do not come with cabinet handles — a few do.
