A driveway is only as good as what's under it. Concrete or blacktop, we dig out, set a compacted base and grade it for drainage before anything goes down, so it handles Long Island's freeze and thaw winters.

Whether it's a full driveway replacement, a new patio or a set of front steps, you get a walkthrough, a clear written estimate and one team from tear out to cleanup.

Common Questions

Driveway & Concrete FAQ

You can usually walk on new concrete after a day or two, but keep cars off it for about a week, and keep heavy trucks off longer. Concrete keeps gaining strength for weeks. We give you exact dates based on the mix and the weather when we pour.
Concrete costs more up front, stays cooler in summer and needs less upkeep, but it needs proper control joints and a good base to handle our freeze and thaw winters. Asphalt is cheaper and easier to patch. We price both so you can compare.
Yes. Stamped and colored concrete is popular for patios and walkways because it gives the look of stone or pavers in one pour. We go over patterns and colors with you before anything is ordered.
Yes. Removing and hauling away the old concrete or asphalt, fixing the base, and pouring new is a common job for us. The estimate spells out removal, base work and the new slab.
It depends on the town and whether you are changing the curb cut or apron. We check with your town during the estimate and let you know before any work starts.
